This event begins with a soothing 60-minute yoga class available to anyone at any level and ability. Afterwards, mingle on the patio, in the garden, or throughout the beautiful space of the Butterfly House with fellow yogi friends and enjoy a refreshing glass (or two!) of wine and yummy treats! Part of living a fulfilled and happy life is having a supportive community of women around us. This night is all about connecting with your body, feeling amazing, and hanging with like-minded girlfriends. So grab a friend and make a date of it!
Join Mind Body Align for a summer canoe excursion for women! Get to know other like-minded ladies on a scenic 7-mile journey down the winding Mohican River in Loudonville, Ohio, then relax on the river banks for a picnic lunch. We provide the canoes and lunch, and you awesome ladies provide the fun spirit of summer!
Cost: $45 for Mind Body Align members, $50 for non-members.

Yoga Fundamentals I – A Workshop For Beginning Yoga Students
Yoga is a beautiful and beneficial practice that can assist us in living our best lives. As incarnational beings, we must take care of our bodies, minds, and spirits and practicing allows us to do just that: move and breathe in ways we don’t usually find ourselves in the course of our daily work. This creates time and space for the body to become strong and supple, the mind to become focused and quiet, and the spirit to realize its freedom. Because of this, we are better able to move through the world with equanimity and grace.
That being said, it can be intimidating to jump into a random yoga class at your local studio or when you’re away on vacation. This workshop will provide beginning students with the foundational concepts of yoga practice: pranayama (breathing), asana (postures) and dhyana (meditation). We will discuss and explore helpful breathing practices, learn and experience beneficial ways of spending a few moments in various postures, and introduce ourselves to a simple and uplifting gratitude meditation. No prior yoga experience required. All are welcome.
Cost is $25 for this workshop or $45 if you register for both Yoga Fundamentals I and II.

This workshop will build on knowledge gained in our beginners class from the previous day. we will apply our breathing practice to our movement and discover the joys of vinyasa (breathing and moving at the same time on purpose.) The classic Sun Salutation will be broken down into its various parts and pieces and then strung together like pearls on a string. This workshop is a great opportunity to ask lots of questions and learn how to tailor the postures and sun salutations to suit your unique needs. Yoga Fundamentals I or equivalent prior yoga experience is a requirement for this workshop.
Cost is $25 for this workshop or $45 for both Yoga Fundamentals I and Yoga Fundamentals II.
