Vino & Vision Workshop for Men & Women

Visioning is a powerful tool that can be used to awaken the deeper aspiration of our lives. Using mindfulness and creativity, this event will allow participants to create a vision board to act as their personal navigator in 2019.

Led by mindful coaches, this event will be just the catalyst you need to manifest your intentions and set your course in creating the life you want to live.

Investment in this workshop is $30 and includes a guided discussion on mindfulness and visioning, vision board supplies, and (1) glass of wine. Additional wine may be purchased at the event, which is open to all genders, ages 21+.

Yoga Nidra

Instructor: Ginger Long

Yoga Nidra translates as, “Yogic Sleep.” It is a state of being in which the practitioner experiences the stillness of deep sleep while maintaining conscious awareness. Yoga Nidra looks like Savasana and sounds like guided meditation, but is more than each of these things. Yoga Nidra is sometimes described as a journey to the true Self, or to union with that which always is. I think your Yoga Nidra experience is personal and is what you need it to be.

Past participants, describing Yoga Nidra, have this to say:
I feel so calm. I didn’t know I could feel like this.
This is deep, in a very good way.
I felt a real sense of healing at the cellular level.
I think I fell asleep… is that ok? (That’s ok!).

I can’t tell you what Yoga Nidra will be for you. I can tell you that it is different every time you practice. In my experience, Yoga Nidra is a gift. Having received this gift, it is my pleasant duty to share Yoga Nidra with others who wish to take this journey.

Caveat: If paying extended attention to your breath, to bodily sensations or to the nature of consciousness itself seems likely to cause you significant distress, Yoga Nidra might not be for you at this time. If you have doubts, I encourage you to follow your own good judgment and/or consult with a trusted health-care practitioner.

So, are you in? If so, eat a little something light before you get here—you don’t want to be distracted by hunger, or by the work of digesting a heavy meal. 

Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. 

Avoid fragrances that would distract you or others from your inward journey. 

Some yoga experience recommended, but not essential.

Sound Bath with Tibetan Singing Bowls

What is the impact of sound on the body and what can we do so it can heal and not hurt? Explore a path that promotes wellness using singing bowls, silence, and sound.

Learn how to use a singing bowl, the benefits of doing so, and grounding techniques to help in reducing stress.

Harness the power of finding a sacred space and crafting a practice of moving into a relaxed state. Techniques on releasing, relaxing and restoring our energy flow will be discussed.

Create Your Sacred Space Workshop

A sacred space can be comprised of a multitude of ideas, aspirations, and meanings depending on the person who is creating the space.

In this workshop, we will be led through the process of mindfully honing in on what it takes to make your space as nourishing as possible.

Whether you intend to use your space for meditation, prayer, yoga, or just calming silence, this workshop will offer you a path to begin your journey. If you are looking to expand your existing sanctuary, our guides will present ways to dig into the motivations you have to see it grow.

For many, a sanctuary is a physical representation of the internal space they wish to cultivate within themselves. Let us help you understand that connection and find ways to fully realize it in your own home.
