How does mindfulness support your wellbeing, including stress responses, behaviors, and attitudes?
In this course we turn toward our own experiences. You are invited to reflect on your own levels of stress and how mindfulness can cultivate behaviors and attitudes that shift your living towards wellness. We also invite you to explore your why, toxic stress, and strengthening the mind, attention, and choice.
As we dive deeper into the way mindfulness practices support well-being, you may notice at times that discomfort and emotion arise. We’ll explore the definitions of trauma, how and why it may be activated in mindfulness practices, and how to practice through a lens of compassion while building your resiliency.
