May Is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Now more than ever, practicing mindfulness will help deal with the stressors of everyday life, or even the stress of situations brought on as a result of events beyond our control. At Mind Body Align, we transform lives through mindfulness, and we are excited to bring you opportunities to incorporate the practice into your life through this partnership with the Richland County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board along with other community partners. Together we are working to end the stigma around mental health.
We invite you to join in the mindful activities below, check out our blog, and be sure to sign up to receive more resources right into your inbox.
What is Mindfulness?
- Mindfulness is simply noticing what is happening right now.
- Mindfulness is taking notice of how your body feels and what you see, smell, and taste.
- Mindfulness is also noticing what your mind is doing, and paying attention to your thoughts and emotions.
