Reboot + Recharge: A 20-Minute Playlist for Rest, Focus, and Reset

2 minute read

Some days, you don’t need another task to accomplish. You need a few minutes to step away from the noise.

We created this 20-minute Spotify playlist as an invitation to pause, breathe, and give your attention somewhere other than your to-do list.

Use it during a midday break, after a demanding meeting, between work and home, or anytime you want to create a little space between what just happened and whatever comes next.

There is nothing you need to achieve while listening. Find a comfortable place, press play, and allow yourself 20 minutes to simply be.

Why Taking a Short Reset Matters

Our days are filled with transitions, decisions, conversations, notifications, and competing demands. It’s easy to move from one thing to the next without giving ourselves an opportunity to reset.

A short intentional break can create space to notice how you’re feeling, release some of the tension you’re carrying, and return to your day with greater clarity and attention.

And it doesn’t have to take an hour.

Sometimes, 20 minutes is enough to interrupt the rush and give your mind and body an opportunity to shift gears.

How to Use This 20-Minute Playlist

There isn’t one right way to listen.

You might use the playlist to:

  • Sit quietly with your eyes open or closed.
  • Take a few slow, comfortable breaths.
  • Stretch or move gently.
  • Step away from your computer during the workday.
  • Create a transition between work and home.
  • Rest without scrolling through your phone.
  • Journal or reflect.
  • Simply listen to the music.

The goal isn’t to force yourself to feel calm. Instead, give yourself permission to pause and notice what happens.

You Don’t Have to Earn a Pause

Rest doesn’t have to come only after everything is finished.

In fact, everything may never be finished.

Taking a short pause in the middle of a full day isn’t wasted time. It can be an intentional way of supporting yourself so you can return to the people, decisions, and responsibilities that matter to you with greater presence.

Twenty minutes won’t change everything.

But it might change the next twenty minutes.

Press play whenever you’re ready.
