WASHINGTON, DC – The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) today announced the 10 finalists for this year’s Innovation Showcase highlighting up and coming Ed Tech companies and their products. Winners of the “Most Likely to Succeed” and “Most Innovative” awards will be announced live during the CODiE Awards winner announcement ceremony on June 9, 2022.
The finalists each receive three months of mentoring from a seasoned industry executive, participation in an online Innovation Series webinar during which they received feedback from state education agencies, access to an exclusive SIIA student data privacy webinar and one year of SIIA membership.
The two winners will also receive an edWebinar provided by edWeb.net, a podcast with Education Talk Radio, an AC&E online journal article, market research consultation via Interactive Educational Systems Design, an episode on MindShare TV. and an SIIA feature blog post spotlighting each company.

To qualify, the companies had to have annual revenue of less than $1 million, a fully, reviewable, finished product that was developed in the past three years as well as a functional website. The submissions were judged by a panel of ed tech executives from leading companies as well as industry consultants with more than 20 years of ed tech experience.
“After a two year hiatus, we are once again recognizing some of the best and brightest in the industry,” said Jennifer Baranowski, Managing Director of the CODiE Awards. “The judges were very impressed with the quality of the submissions and we are excited to have the next wave of pioneers take part in the Showcase. Ed tech has become a vital necessity in today’s classrooms – helping students whether in the classroom or virtual.”
The Innovation Showcase is held in tandem with SIIA’s CODiE Awards, the industry’s only peer-recognized awards program – which announced finalists for award categories last week. The Awards and the Showcase represent both ends of the cycle of the growth in the ed tech industry. Through the Innovation Showcase, SIIA looks to usher in the next wave of great ed tech tools and resources for students, parents, and educators.
